Why am I getting an error when adding an Organization code?
Chart of Account Segments Error: These segments are already used in a defined Org or An organization with this segment combination already exists.
Chart Manager Error: An organization with this segment combination already exists.

Segment combination was already used

Resolution

Select unique segments that are not already tied to a different Org code

To locate the existing Organization Code, MUNIS > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Chart of Account Segments

Select Organization Code from GL Segment drop down
Click Accept
Click Search
Pick the Fund number in Segments
Click Accept
Click Browse
Click Excel (export the records)
Review the excel - search for the segments that are being used. Once identified the organization code with those segments will have been located.
