Encumbrance Journal Posting in Last Year

• I need an Encumbrance Entry for Last Year, but receive message that only current or next year are valid.
• Would like to create Prior year (PY) encumbrance journal (GEL)

• Encumbrance Journal Entry/Proof (GEN)
• Last Year 1/Prior Year 
• Period 13

Incorrect journal amounts in prior year caused by:

• Failed Encumbrance Journal Posting
• Incorrect GEL journal created

Users cannot post Encumbrance journals into prior year.

Encumbrance amounts should be zero after Year End Close.
