When viewing detail of a Fixed Asset journal you receive a 'String or binary data would be truncated' error

Error is being received when viewing detail of a fixed asset journal:

Error populating browse data, status; -6372 

Additional information concerning a status error of -6372
String or binary data would be truncated

Fixed asset description allows 40 characters, journal field is limited to 36.
