Resolution

The Longevity Date defined in the Longevity and Experience Report will be compared to the Service Date in Employee Master to determine where an employee lands on the Longevity Table (service levels).

  1. Go to Longevity and Experience Report. (Human Capital Management>Human Resources>Employee Job/Pay Classification>Longevity and Experience Report).

  2. When defining this report, the Longevity Date field is the date used to determine the employee's length of service and pay amount. (Example 05/30/2020)

  3. Go to Employee Master (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Master).

  4. Search for the employee. Click Accept. Click the Dates Tab.

  5. Note the Service Date. This is compared to the Longevity date to determine the employee's length of service.

    1. Example: Service Date is 05/01/2014. When compared to the 05/30/2020 longevity date, the employee has a length of service of 6 years (or 72 months).

  6. Go to Pay Master. (Payroll>Payroll Setup>Pay Master)

  7. Click on Longevity in the toolbar. Search for the employee's Longevity Table number. Click Accept

    1. The longevity table can be found in Pay Master on the longevity pay code.

  8. Find where the employee lands within the Service Levels to determine the Amt/Pct they should receive when the Longevity Report is run.
