Submitting Identity Provider Paperwork for Tyler Identity Workforce (TID-W) Federation

What do I have to do to get federated for Tyler Identity Workforce (TID-W)?

Resolution
  1. Determine who the Identity Provider (IDP) is

    1. Examples are:  Active Directory, Entra ID (Formerly Azure), ADFS, Google ID, etc.

  2. Please create a case with TSM for assistance in the Support Portal

    1. Use the following verbiage in the title:  TID-W Federation and Migration for XXXX where XXXX is the name of your organization

  3. The specific instructions based on the IDP will be provided by the PM responsible for your ticket

  4. Once those instructions are completed, specific documents may need to be uploaded for the federation to take place (Active Directory does not require this upload)

  5. Do not email or upload the return document to the CRM ticket!  The document contains sensitive information and needs to be uploaded to a secure location using a provided Kiteworks link

  6. Once federation is complete, a date is selected to migrate your test or train environment to the new authentication

    1. Federation is required only once per tenant

    2. Migration requires 8 hours of downtime per environment

    3. Once migration is complete there may be a slight change in the login experience for users.  Users will use their email to log in instead of a username and password
