Unable to access Hourly Rate field in Employee Job Salary using a Calc Code 01
In Employee Job/Salary, when adding a new base pay record the hourly rate field is not accessible, despite using a calc code 01 - Hourly RateÂ

Position Control
In Job Class Master, the job is attached to a Salary Table on the Salary Data tab however, the Position Control record is Not linked to Salary tables and this particular employee will not be using salary tables.
To resolve, the Job Class and Position need to be updated to No salary table and the employee needs to be deleted and re-added in Employee Job/Salary:Â
Go to Job Class Master (Payroll > Payroll Setup > Job Class Master)Â
Select Search to bring up the Job ClassÂ
Select Update at the top and click the Salary Data tabÂ
Change value in the Salary Table field to N - NoÂ
A prompt will display to update positions, click Yes and it updates the positions automaticallyÂ
Go back to Employee Job/Salary (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Job/Salary)Â
Search for the employee and base pay. Click Delete.Â
Click Add. Define the Employee and applicable information TAB into the hourly rate field to define the rate. Click Accept.Â
