Description of Issue

The IIS Management Console under Windows Features is missing on the server.

Context

Cause

Some of the configurations on the server are missing.

Resolution

  1. Access the affected server as tylerservice or an administrative account

  2. Go to the Windows Search Bar (icon on the bottom left corner)

  3. Type Server Manager > double click on it > Manage > Add Roles and Features

  4. Select Next on the Before you Begin Page

  5. Make sure role-based or feature-based is checked > next

  6. Under Server Selection, select Next

  7. Under Server Roles expand Web Server (IIS) > Expand Management Tools

  8. Check the box for IIS Management Console >Next > Next > Install

    1. Note: When done, you will see Installation succeeded on xxxxxxx > Go to the Windows Search Bar (icon on the bottom left corner) > Type IIS
