Payroll Employee Update Error - SHUTDOWN is in progress

Description of Issue

The server was rebooted in the middle of the Employee Update and we got an error and it attempted to recover the data but we're not sure if it completed.

Cause

Resolution

Call Payroll Support to run scripts to make sure the Employee Update completed successfully and history and accumulators are correct.

  • This error can indicate that the EERP/Munis and/or SQL server were being rebooted at the time the program displaying the error was being run.

  • This issue can occur in any program/Module where a process is running while a server is being restarted.

  • Re-running the program at a later time after server maintenance is complete will also resolve the issue.

Additional Information

If client is self hosted, the payroll technician will need a connection to the server with SQL access.
