Employee Deductions-Direct Deposit-Routing Number not found

Description of Issue

When updating an employee's direct deposit in Employee Deductions, the user gets the following error when entering the routing number:

Routing number not found.

Context
  • Enterprise ERP Payroll

  • Employee Deductions

  • Bank Codes

Cause

The routing number originally set up for this bank in Bank Codes is no longer valid.

Resolution

Update the routing number in Bank Codes.

  1. Navigate to Payroll>Payroll Setup>Bank Codes.

  2. Search for Bank Code and click Accept.

  3. Click Update.

  4. Enter correct routing number.

  5. Click Accept.

Additional Information

Changes to the routing number will automatically flow to all existing Employee Deduction records defined with the associated Bank Code.
