How to regenerate ACA Electronic File
Description of Issue
How do I regenerate the 1094 Electronic File?
Context
- Affordable Care Act Report
- Create 1094/5-B/C Electronic File
Cause
Electronic file was created however the files were not saved, will need to regenerate to save the files.
Resolution
- Navigate to the program Create 1094/5-B/C Electronic File program.
- Menu > Human Capital Management > Payroll > 1095-B/C Processing > Create 1094/5-B/C Electronic Files
- Click Define and enter the year you wish to regenerate.
- Click the appropriate type records, either 1094/1095-B or 1094/1095-C.
- Click the option in the toolbar for Generate.
- Click Yes to all prompts.
- Choose Save As and save the files to a folder location.
