Amounts on the Employee Flexible Balance report





Description of Issue

I am running the Flexible Period Balance Report option on the Employee Accrual Report.  Not sure where the Balance amount is coming from.

Cause




Resolution

The Begin amount is the running balance as of the start date of the report.

The Used and Earned amounts are the sum of the earned and used from accrual history between the start and end date of the report.

The Balance is a calculated balance.  It is the Begin amount - Used amount + Earned amount.



Additional Information

Can view the running balance as of start date of the report by searching for the employee in Employee Accruals > click History > scroll back to view the record as of the start date of the report to see the Running Balance.
