General ledger load historical tables - load from Journal Hist

Description of Issue
  • Need historical tab populated in Account Inquiry
  • Following upgrade only Next, Current and prior years 1-2 were fed into Munis but need more for reporting
  • Issues with prior year 2 or before where an accounts header (front screen amount) does not match the sum of the journal detail folder

Cause
  • Following upgrades Tyler Munis Support only feed in Next Year, Current Year, and Prior Years 1 and 2 data to save time
  • Site needs to run Load Historical Data
Resolution
  • This process should be performed in Train or Test first
  • Live should be backed up and users logged out before updating Live

  1. Browse Munis > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Miscellaneous Setup > Load Historical Tables

  2. Search

  3. Define the find by segments to define record set of accounts, define nothing to select all accounts

  4. Accept

  5. Define

  6. Enter specific Fiscal Year needed to adjust

  7. Accept

  8. Load from Journal Hist

  9. Excel
  10. Review excel output data to ensure it is correct before moving to next step

  11. Post Updates

  12. Verify Account Inquiry amounts have been updated accordingly, refresh screen if already open to see updates
Additional Information
  • Advised to load fiscal years in sequential order to ensure data feeds correctly
  • Run reports and double check data before moving to next needed fiscal year load
  • Load historical tables import
