Can you update the Employee Number

Employee was added into Munis with incorrect employee number

The employee number may not be updated.

If the employee has not been processed through any payrolls, you may delete and re-add the Employee Master record with the correct employee number.

If the employee has been processed through a payroll, you cannot delete the Employee Master record.  What we suggest is inactivating the current Employee Master record.  Then adding a new Employee Master record with the correct employee number.  When process the W-2s, select the option to Combine Employee Numbers by SSN.
