Calculate Charges No Rate Found 5986

While running Calculate All/Calc Find Set, an error message displays No rate found - 5986.  The error message also contains the service number, charge code, rate code, effective date, and system log ID.

Read dates do not correspond to an existing Rate Master.  Need to verify the read date is correct or create a Rate Master for the read dates.

Verify the read dates are correct:

1. In Calculate Charges, verify both the Previous Read Date and Current Read Date are correct and are not transposed

   1. If the Current Read Date is incorrect, use Meter Reads to update it

   2. If the Previous Read Date is incorrect, use Update Previous to update it

2. If the Read Dates are correct, verify the Rate Master exists with an effective date before the bill run start date and oldest previous read date

   1. If the Rate Master does not exist, use the Copy/Delete button to copy it to a date before the bill run start date and oldest previous read date

   2. Close any open Bill Run programs and rerun after the copy is complete

3. If both dates are correct and the Rate Master exists, delete the account from Calculate Charges and re-enter from Generate Charges
