W-2 Image not showing in ESS

Description of Issue

User has printed W-2s and they came out of the printer, but there is no image in ESS and they have not archived to TCM.

Context

  • Enterprise ERP Payroll

  • W-2 and 1099-R Processing

  • ReadyForms 

  • Delivery Definitions

Cause

Archive step in Delivery Definition did not have Archive checked under Action.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to System Administration>Printer/Device Administration>ReadyForms>Delivery Definitions and search for Document Model and Name, or Payroll>W-2 and 1099-R Processing>W-2 Wizard, click Print then Print W-2s and click ReadyForms Delivery Definitions, then use arrows to navigate to correct option.

  2. Under Steps, click Update.

  3. Select Archive check box and Document Type under Actions.

  4. Click Accept. 

  5. Reprint W-2s. 

Additional Information

If user only wants to use an Archive step for the reprint, use Copy Delivery Definition to create a new Delivery Definition with only an Archive Step, selecting the correct Template and Action.
