Update Credit Card Function in CSS does not work

Description of Issue

Customers are updating their credit card information in Citizen Self Service but the credit card information in Enterprise ERP does not get updated.

Cause

A technical limitation between Citizen Self Service and the payment service providers OpenEdge and BridgePay prevents the credit card update from processing successfully. 

Resolution

Unfortunately, in instances where this issue is being encountered, updating the credit card information in Enterprise ERP manually may be required.

A long time solution for consideration is switching payment service providers and transitioning to Tyler Payments. The update credit card function does work with this integration.
