How to create Invoice Messages

Description of Issue

Need to create a new invoice message for General Billing.

Context
  • General Billing 

  • Invoices 

  • Recurring Invoices (gbrecurr)

  • Invoice Entry and Proof (gbinvinq) 

  • Invoice Messages (gbmsgmnt)

Cause

A new invoice message for General Billing invoices is needed. 

Resolution
  1. Navigate to the Invoice Messages program either by Searching or via the following path: Property or General Revenues > General Billing > Setup > Invoice Messages

  2. Click Add.

  3. Enter the desired unused Code number or click +1 to generate the next available Code number.

  4. Enter a Description. (Note: This field is informational only.) 

  5. Enter the desired invoice message in the Text field.

  6. Click Accept.

  7. The new invoice message will now be available for use in Invoice Entry and Proof and Recurring Invoices.
