Description of Issue

  • User wants to enter grant budgets to show in YTD Budget Report as Original Budget, not as an adjustment, and without having to use a budget projection.

  • Establish original budget with a budget amendment.

  • Fund is MY LTD and accounts have not previously had Original Budget established.

  • Create a BUC instead of a BUA in Budget Transfers and Amendments.

Resolution

  • If no Original Budget exists (including 0 amounts hard posted by a budget projection) for an account tied to a Multi-Year fund, an entry can be made in Budget Transfers and Amendments program.

  • Select Yes to the prompt: Is this journal intended to become part of the initial established budget for multi-year fund account...?
