Need to create menu and submenu to organize MUNIS programs
Context

Cause
Create custom menu for users
Resolution
There are 2 steps to create a new menu in Munis
1. Create a new menuid
- Go to Munis > System Administration > General Administration > Menu Settings
- Click on Add(+ sign) from the top menu.
- Type the ID of new menu in Menu ID.
- Type a Caption for the Menu. This is how it will appear in the Munis menu.
- Click on Accept.
- Click on the dropdown in Type and select the type of entry to be created within this menu. For example I- Munis Application.
- Click Accept
2. Add the menu to Munis Menu
- Go to Munis > System Administration > General Administration > Menu Settings
- Navigate menu section where sub menu should be listed
- Click Update
- TAB until a new entry line is created at the end of the menu list
- Select M- Menu form the drop down
- Enter the menuid that is previously created in Step 1.
- Type a Caption for this new menu.
- Click Accept
The newly created menu(s) will need to be assigned to a Role in Munis.
Refresh the Tyler Hub home page and the new menu will be a part of the Tyler Menu for user(s) assigned to the Role(s).
