500 Internal Server Error when selecting ESS Employment Opportunities

• When selecting Employment Opportunities on Employee Self Service it is throwing the 500 Internal Server Error

• ESS Exception - Value cannot be null. Parameter name: xml is empty 

• Employee Self Service

• Employment Opportunities

• Recruiting

• Job Openings

The most recent Job Opening added has extra spaces in the Text folder

1. Go to Job Openings (Human Capital Management> Recruiting> Job Opening)

2. Click Search

3. Locate the most recent Job Opening addition

4. Click Text folder

5. Remove the extra spaces at the end of the paragraphs or sentences

6. Click Save
