No Period Skittle in General Journal Entry Proof

User is missing the Period Option within General Journal Entry/Proof

General Journal Entry/Proof

Change Period

Users without permission to post Prior to or Beyond the Default are not given the Period skittle option in General Journal Entry/Proof

The user will need to be granted permission to Post Beyond or Prior to the default for the Period skittle to show. 

System Administration > Security > User Attributes

1. Highlight the role Granting General Ledger Permissions to user and select Edit Role at bottom of screen

2. General Ledger folder

3. Update

4. Set Allow Transaction in periods prior to the default or Allow Transactions in periods beyond the default to a value other than zero

   1. Alternatively, Override Accounting Period can be set to give access to all available periods.

5. Accept

6. Now when the user goes back to General Journal Entry/Proof the Period Skittle will show. 

Please note: Making a change to a Role will affect all users assigned to that Role.
