Configure Amazon SES SMTP for AWS hosted environment

Description of Issue

Tyler hosted saasmail is not available for AWS hosted environments. As an alternative, environments can now be configured with an Amazon SES SMTP configuration that utilizes the mail.munis.tylerhost.net domain.

Cause

Tyler maintained Amazon SES can be utilized as an alternative to site maintained SMTP such as exchange, office 365, or Gmail if customer's email relay is not available at the time of deployment.



Resolution

Please create a case with TSM SaaS for assistance with SMTP configuration in the Support Portal



Additional Information

When utilizing the Tyler maintained Amazon SES SMTP server, the automatic emails generated from Munis will utilize the mail.munis.tylerhost.net domain and cannot utilize a site specific domain. A test email can be sent to make sure they are not blocked.
