Cannot post payroll journal outside of period

Needing to post the payroll journal to the prior period but the field is grayed out

• Munis 
• Payroll
• GL Distribution Journal

User did not have override accounting period access

1. System Administration > Security > User Attributes
2. Search and Accept on the Role
3. Select the Role with General Ledger access and click Edit Role
4. Click General Ledger > Update 
5. Check the box for Override account period
