Calc code not defined error in payroll

Description of Issue

When running the error report, a Calc Code Not Defined Error was occurring for an employee that had a Calc Code defined

Context
  • Munis
  • Payroll 
  • Earnings and Deductions
Cause

A calc code 06 was defined for a deduction that should not have been looking to a tax table

Resolution
  1. Navigate to Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employee Deductions.
  2. Search and Accept for the employee and deduction number the error is occurring on.
  3. Click Update.
  4. Click the Calc Code drop down and change to the correct code.
  5. Navigate to Payroll > Payroll Processing > Earnings and Deductions.
  6. Search and Accept for the Employee.
  7. Click Withholding Tab.
  8. Double click Deduction.
  9. Click Delete.
  10. Confirm deletion of Deduction code. 
  11. Click Add from the ribbon.
  12. TAB through slowly to ensure all of the fields populate.
  13. Click Accept
