Description of Issue

How can I prevent a user from posting payroll to the GL?



Context

  • Munis

  • RBAC - Role Based Access Control

  • Menu Security

  • Payroll permissions



Cause




Resolution

  1. Access the Roles screen (System Administration > Security > Roles)

  2. Search for the user's Role

  3. Click the Menu Security tab

  4. Double-click on Human Capital Management - hrmain > Payroll - prmenu > Payroll Processing - prpyroll

  5. Click the Edit box

  6. Uncheck box for General Ledger Distribution Journal - prjournl

  7. Click Accept



Additional Information

Review all Roles assigned to the user.  If any Role grants access, then the user will still have access.
