'We encountered a problem' error when clicking on Paycheck Simulator in ESS

• All employees receive an error message when clicking on Paycheck Simulator in ESS
• Exception when employees click on Paycheck Simulator
• "Object reference not set to an instance of an object...

          MUNIS Web Services – Called prwsnsim_initialize

          Return code - 5

          XML out - [xmlOUT is null or empty]

          MUNIS Web Services – Return code 5 included the following message:

          Unable to prepare simulation data."

• Employee Self Service (ESS) 
• Paycheck Simulator

• Paycheck Simulator is unable to determine the appropriate warrant when preparing simulation data

1. Access Munis > Human Capital Management > Human Resources > Employee Job/Pay Classification > Employee Net Pay Simulator
2. Use the Search button to establish the simulation for any example employee
3. Log Out of ESS, then Log In
4. Click Pay/Tax Information > Paycheck Simulator
