Updated payroll exceptions for a deduction but deduction gross is still wrong

Description of Issue

I updated the payroll exceptions to exclude a pay code from a deduction but the payroll is still including the pay code in the deduction gross.

Cause

User did not close out of all payroll screens after updating the payroll exceptions for the deduction code.

Resolution
  1. Close out of all payroll processing screens
  2. Access Earnings and Deductions: Payroll > Payroll Processing > Payroll Start and Status > Earnings and Deductions
  3. Search on the employee, click on the Withholding tab > double-click on the deduction
  4. Click Delete and then click Add to re-add the deduction into the payroll
