Description of Issue

How do I create a Tyler Cashiering Account?

Cause

Tyler Cashiering SQL accounts are required to access the client program as well as the program account. Syncing the password with the Munis account simplifies logins.

Resolution

Tyler Cashiering Account Creation and Sync Setting

  1. Administrator will log into Munis Cloud Admin using the Munis username and password
  2. Click on User Account Management  > Manage User Accounts in the menu
  3. You will be prompted for your 2 Factor Authentication. Enter the code from your Google Authenticator app
  4. Search for the user you wish to modify under Find a user…
  5. Click on View Details
  6. Click on Create SQL Cashiering Account


 Password Syncing

This gives the user one password for both Munis and Cashiering accounts.

  1. Log into Munis Cloud Admin using your Munis username and password
  2. You may need to wait up to 15 minutes before logging into Cashiering with your Munis password.
  3. If you have any trouble with your account, please contact TSM SaaS Support.
