Context

Account Trial Balance

User Attributes

Cause

A defect is causing the error for users with the Long Account account entry attribute.

Resolution
  • The Master work ticket written for 2018.1 is MUN-368283 and has been released by Development to resolve this error.
  • One work around is to not search by Account Status in GL Seg Find until the work ticket has been installed.

If the Account status parameter is required for reporting, the other work around option is to change the user's account entry method to Org Entry.

System Administration > Security > User Attributes

  1. Click Search
  2. Enter User Id
  3. Click Accept
  4. Click the Attributes tab
  5. Under thee Attribute section, click Update
  6. Enter O in the Account entry method (required) value field
  7. Click Accept
  8. Return to the Munis Menu to reopen Account Trial Balance
Additional Information

The GL Segment Find changes format based on Account Entry method, removing the Organization Code as a searchable field when set to Long Account.
