Positive Pay file-custom template-dollar sign included in Check Amount

Description of Issue

When creating a Positive Pay file with a custom template in Check Register, a dollar sign ($) is coming in at the front of the Check Amount in every line.

Cause

Is currency checked in Format for Check Amount column

Resolution
  1. Navigate to Payroll> Payroll Processing> Payroll Start and Status >Check Register.

  2. Click Custom Templates.

  3. Locate template and click View.

  4. Click Column for Check Amount.

  5. Click Format.

  6. Uncheck Is currency.

  7. Click OK.

  8. Click Save.

  9. Close out of Custom Templates tab in browser and return to Check Register to create file.
