Does the GL Distribution Code change when updating accounts

Does the GL Distribution Code change when updating accounts

Description of Issue

Do GL Distribution Codes Accounting methods change when updating accounts?

Context
  • Enterprise Asset Management

  • EAM

Cause

GL Distribution Code was accidentally created and saved with the wrong accounting method

Resolution

Once the GL Distribution Code has been saved, it's not possible to switch the Accounting method. The code with the incorrect Accounting method would have to be removed and a new code would need to be created.
