Monthly Budget Amounts - How to Reallocate amounts

Description of Issue

Monthly budget amounts were posted to certain periods but amounts need to be moved/reallocated to other periods.

Cause


Resolution

The Monthly Budget Amounts program can reallocate the amounts as needed:

  1. Financials > Budget Processing > Monthly Budget Amounts

  2. Click Search and search for the year and account 

  3. Click Reallocate

  4. Click Update

  5. Add or subtract amounts from each period (net changes must sum to zero for all periods combined)

  6. Click Accept

  7. Click Back and Ok

  8. Click Create Journals

  9. Follow output/post prompts to post the changes
