Unable to update Fiscal year period options in Import Journals

Year and Period fields are inaccessible when defining Import parameters

Import Journals

User does not have permission to Override Accounting Period and Allow transactions in periods beyond the default/Allow transactions in periods prior to the default permissions are both set to 0

To resolve, the user's General Ledger Permissions will need to be updated.

System Administration > Security > User Attributes

1. Search for the User Id

2. Select a role that grants General Ledger Permissions and Edit Role

3. Select the General Ledger folder and Update

4. Depending of if the entry is entered in periods beyond or prior to the default

   1. Change the Allow transactions in periods beyond the default permission to allow access to enough periods that a transaction can be entered in the intended Year/Period

   2. Change the Allow transactions in periods prior to the default permission to allow access to enough periods that a transaction can be entered in the intended Year/Period

Please Note: Updating a Role impacts all users assigned to this Role.
