Description of Issue

Discount codes for Business Licenses must be copied year to year



Context

  • Start of year

  • Discount codes



Cause

Start of new year



Resolution

  1. Property Revenues > Business Licenses > Setup > Discount Codes

  2. Enter current year in Year field

  3. Click Accept

  4. Click Copy

  5. Click Define

  6. Enter current/previous year as Model Year

  7. Enter new/next year as Target Year

  8. Click Accept or use Tab button

  9. Click Copy

  10. The number of discount codes copied will display under the results section



Additional Information

Discount codes are not used by all sites.  If a site does not use business license discount codes this step in the start of year process can be skipped.Â
