How to Add or Remove programs on Tyler Menu

Description of Issue

How to grant Hub menu access.

Users can't see certain programs on main menu. 

How to remove menu programs for all users at once?

Mass update main menu.

Cause

Users may need access to EERP programs granted or restricted. 

Resolution

To Add or restrict menu access for a certain user:

  1. Navigate to System Administration > Security > User Attributes.

  2. Click Search.

  3. Enter the relevant UserId and click Accept.

  4. Click to Highlight the relevant Role.

  5. Click Edit Role.

  6. Click the Menu Security Tab.

  7. Click Edit.

  8. User the Forward and Back buttons to navigate the menu to the relevant program.

  9. Check the box next to the program name to grant access to this program.

  10. Click Accept.


To Add or restrict menu access globally:

  1. Navigate to System Administration > General Administration > Menu Settings.

  2. Highlight the relevant menu items and click Forward, continue until the desired menu item(s) are highlighted

  3. Click Update, click Accept.

  4. Set Allow Access to Yes, No, or Hidden.

  5. Click Apply Now.

  6. Repeat for each relevant menu item.

  7. Click Back until the program closes.

  8. Refresh the HUB changes to take affect.


Users may need to click the Refresh option on the Tyler Menu in the Hub to see this change take affect.
