New Business License expire date setting

A new option is being added to the Update license expire date setting and the checkbox replaced by a drop-down menu.

Update license expire date setting options include:

1. Update license expiration date when all Account bills have zero balance
   1. When a license bill is paid in full, the system checks for unpaid bills on all licenses on the account.  If all bills on all licenses have a zero balance, the expiration date on the license being paid will update.  If there is a balance on any license on the account, the expiration date will be left blank.
   2. This option is equivalent to the previous setting Update license expiration date when bill has zero balance being checked.
2. Update license expiration date when all License bills have zero balance
   1. When a license bill is paid in full, the system checks for unpaid bills for that license only. If all bills for that license have a zero balance, the expiration date on that license will update. 
   2. This option is new and is designed for those that have two or more licenses on an account and do not want to manually update expiration dates.
3. Update license expirations date when renewal Notice prints or AR generated
   1. When a license renewal is printed or AR is generated the expiration date on the license will update. 
      1. A successful Define, Select and Output in the Print Renewals program will result in the updating of the selected license(s) expiration date(s)
         1. Printing individual renewal notices using the Print Renewal button on the business account will also result in the updating of the license expiration date.
      2. When AR is generated for a license, either through the Generate Accounts Receivable program or the Generate AR button on the business account, the expiration date on the license will update.
   2. This option is equivalent to the previous setting Update license expiration date when bill has zero balance being unchecked.

License expiration dates are updated based on the Cycle Dates established in the Cycle Dates folder in the Cycle Codes program..
