Description of Issue
  • HR approved benefits selection for a new hire from ESS but the benefits did not post to employee deduction records tried again a got error about overlapping deductions

Cause
  • Overlapping dates from the new and old deduction records
Resolution
  1. Navigate to the Employee Deductions program and search for the impacted employee record
  2. Locate the specific deduction records and review the Start Date and End Date associated
  3. Adjust one or both dates to allow for new deductions to post
