Purchasing Settings Locked



Description of Issue

User is seeing Purchasing settings are currently locked by another user. You cannot update Purchasing settings at this time. Update has been canceled. when attempting to make changes within Purchasing Settings

Resolution
  1. Follow this path within the Tyler Menu: Purchasing > Setup > Purchasing Settings > Lock Check
  2. Delete any locks found within the ensuing Lock Check screen
Cause

Locks can be created when critical processes were closed improperly, including Munis itself; be sure to follow correct procedure when closing out of all programs
