Cannot delete position with active employees

User receives an error when trying to delete a record in Position Control: Cannot delete position with active employees

• Position Control
• Employee Job/Salary

User is trying to Delete a position that is currently occupied, the program will not allow it.

1. Access Employee Job/Salary and remove the employee from the position by.
   • Menu > Human Capital Management > Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employee Job/Salary
   • Using the Delete button to remove the employee's base pay record
   • Using the Update button to adjust the Position End Date prior to the Effective Date of the Position Control record the user is trying to Delete
2. After performing these updates, be sure to undo the changes you have made to Employee Job/Salary.
