Resolution
  1. Open Capital Asset - Excel Template - Import_Export to ASCII and enter import information
    1. Do not change column widths or text formatting
    2. Refer to Capital Asset - Layout Details - Import_Export to ASCII for maximum character lengths
    3. Options for populating column T (which corresponds to line 20 on the import layout document):
      1. Enter N to create new assets with the data on that line
      2. Enter C to update data on existing assets with the data on that line
  2. Delete header information
  3. Save the spreadsheet as a .prn file
  4. Open the .prn file in Notepad or Notepad++
    1. Support recommends downloading and using Notepad++ to more easily see which character of the line you're on
  5. Save the file as upload.txt
    1. Refer to Capital Asset - Final Import File - Import_Export to ASCII for an example of a finished import file for one asset
  6. Open Import/Export to ASCII program and click Import
  7. Click Define
  8. Choose the upload.txt file saved in step 5 to import and click Accept
  9. Click Import
  10. A find set of the records added/updated will be displayed
