Description of Issue
  • Can we stop the Action Number in Personnel Action Entry from incrementing?

Cause
  • This is controlled by the Payroll Control Settings program for the record NEXT PENDING ACTIONS NUMBER
Resolution
  1. To review this option, navigate to Payroll Control Settings
    • Menu → Human Capital Management → Payroll → Payroll Setup → Payroll Control Settings
  2. Scroll down to Category DEFAULT NUMBERS and Label NEXT PENDING ACTIONS NUMBER
  3. Double click on the line to expand the record
  4. Choose Update and edit the record to remove the value, leaving it blank, to stop this from incrementing
