How can a manual update be performed on credit card devices with Tyler Payments, that also use Tyler Cashiering?

Resolution

Below steps are common to Lane 3000 and Lane 5000 devices. To update your device, perform the following:

  1. Press 2 6 3 4 on the device keypad and Press F button on the device

  2. At the TETRA Explorer screen select the Control Panel

  3. Select Software Management

  4. Select Evolution

  5. Select Remote Upgrade

  6. To start an Estate Manager call select Start Remote Upgrade

Additional Information

Using the TETRA Explorer a user can navigate on the device to the Estate Manager menu. There, the user can change the Estate Manager configuration and also force a call to Estate Manager.
