State income tax deduction not showing after decimal values





Description of Issue

I built a new deduction code that is 5.35% of gross pay- I added it to the correct employees in the Employee Deductions program, and tried using both the % from Deduction Master and % from Employee Deductions- it does not calculate correct. The amount after decimal is showing .00 value

Cause

The check box for Round state tax deduction amounts is checked in State Codes



Resolution
  1. Open State Codes (Human Capital Management > Payroll> Payroll  Setup> Income Tax Set up> State Codes)

  2. Search for the State Code 

  3. Click Update

  4. Uncheck the check box for Round state tax deduction amounts

  5. Click Accept
