How to change GL account name

Changing the description of an object code does not change the account name

• Account Inquiry

• Account Master

The description of an object code is a separate update outside of the account name

To change the account name:

Enterprise ERP > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Account Master

1. Click Search

2. Enter account information

3. Click Accept

4. Scroll down to Account Description section

5. In the Full field, enter new account name

6. Click Accept
