Missing An Active Employee - Pay Band Change

Missing An Active Employee - Pay Band Change

Description of Issue

I processed a pay increase using Pay Band Changes for a cost of living increase. I just found out one of our employee did not receive the increase.  The employee was assigned to a new position.

Context
  • Enterprise ERP Payroll

  • Pay Band Changes

  • Position Control

Cause

The site populates the Filled At field in Position Control.  User copied an existing position in Position Control, and did not update the Filled At field in the new position.  The Job Class and Filled At field do not match in Position Control on the new position.

Resolution

Enter the Job Class code in the Filled At field in Position Control

  1. Open the Position Control screen (Human Capital Management > Human Resources > Position Control and Budgeting > Position Control)

  2. Search for the position

  3. Click Update

  4. Click OK to the prompt for Updating An Existing Record

  5. Enter the Job Class code in the Filled at field

  6. Click Accept

  7. Click Cancel to prompt for Position Control Defaults from Job Class
