Resolution

The terms Void and Reversal mean the same thing and the only difference is context. Cashiering uses the term Void, but it's called a Reversal when it comes over into Enterprise ERP. 

Additional Information

Certain records within Enterprise ERP can be also be voided, which is completely separate from Voiding a transaction in Cashiering.

In Receipt Inquiry, a Voided? checkbox will be present on receipt records. When checked, the impact of that receipt will not be factored in anywhere.Â
