How do I override the premium table rates in Employee Deductions?

  • Deduction and Benefit Master
Cause

User would like to define a withholding amount that is not determined by a premium table.

Resolution
  1. Access Employee Deductions: Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employee Deductions
  2. Search on the desired employee and deduction code
  3. Click Update select 02 - AMT FROM EMPLOYEE DEDUCTION under the Calc Code drop-down
  4. TAB into the Employee/Employer Amt/Pct fields and enter the desired withholding amount
  5. Click Accept
