No permissions to fourjs folder



Description of Issue

When signing into the Munis Desktop Client Launcher an error pops up and needs permissions to fourjs folder

Context
  • SaaS
  • Single Sign On (SS0)
  • Genero Desktop Client
  • Munis 11.3
  • fourjs
Cause

Windows user does not have Full Control permissions to C:\programfiles(x86)\fourjs folder

Resolution
  1. Open File Explorer
  2. Navigate to C:\programfiles(x86)\
  3. Right click fourjs folder
  4. Click on Properties
  5. In the new window, click on Security tab
  6. Click Edit button
  7. In the new window, Click Add button
  8. In the large text field enter Authenticated Users
  9. Click OK
  10. Having Authenticated Users highlighted, in the Permissions for Everyone box check off Full Control
  11. Click OK
  12. Launch SSO Desktop Client
  13. Sign in to Munis
