ExecuTime - Genero Service Connectivity Failed

Description of Issue

When clicking Test Genero Service Connectivity in ExecuTime it fails with the error Could not verify connectivity to Genero Web Service. Please check the URL and username and password and try again.

Cause

In Executime under the Tyler Connectivity tab, the wrong URL is set for Genero Web Service URL

A common cause of this is when a site changes from using the MIU to using Tyler Deploy. The structure of the GAS URL changes and thus needs to be updated in integrating products.

Resolution

From Munis

  1. From the Munis menu, navigate to System Administration > General Administration > Web Services
  2. The WSDL base URL is the Genero Web Service URL for ExecuTime


From Munis Application Server

  1. Open Internet Information Services Manager (IIS)
  2. Expand Server Name > Sites > Default Website > MunisHostingENV
    1. For a site that is deployed via Tyler Deploy, this path will be Server Name > Sites > Default Website > ENV Folder > MunisHostingENV
  3. Click on MunisHostingENV
  4. On the right side in the Actions panel click the *443 (https) URL
  5. Log in using the tylerservice credentials if prompted
  6. Click Configure Site
  7. The GAS Connection URL is the Genero Web Service URL for ExecuTime


From Tyler Deploy 

  1. Log into Tyler Deploy
  2. Select correct tenant
  3. Navigate to Product Configuration > Munis ERP and choose the appropriate environment
  4. Scroll all the way down to IIS Info
  5. The Munis Web Service URL is the Genero Web Service URL for ExecuTime


Steps in ExecuTime

  1. Sign into ExecuTime with an admin account
  2. Navigate to System Configuration > Tyler Connectivity OR System Admin > UI Environment Flags > Tyler Connectivity
  3. Paste the correct URL in the box for Genero Web Service URL
  4. Click Save
