Update Order of Account Entry in General Ledger Settings


Description of Issue
Cannot Define Segment Order Settings - Order of account entry
Context

Cause
  • Segment Settings have not been defined and saved
  • Segment Settings not saved cannot be selected from Munis database in drop down fields.
  • Segment(s) already defined in a previously defined Segment Order field.
Resolution

Browse to Munis > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set Up/Chart of AccountsGeneral Ledger Settings

  1. Select Segment Sizes tab
  2. Select Update
  3. Enter the password (Internal only) - Financials General Ledger Support and Implementation have the credentials to authenticate
  4. Complete defining Segment Settings section and Save/Accept
  5. Select Update
  6. Enter the password (Internal only)
  7. Tab through Segment Settings fields to the Order of account entry section fields.
  8. Select the Order of account entry section fields first field's Drop Down Arrow
  9. Select Fund for segment 1.
  10. Complete the order segments. Only fields that have not been defined can be selected.
  11. Select Save/Accept
